The Inventory Process:

 

During the Free Consultation

 

We will meet with you to educate you on the inventory process. We will get information from you about what items will need to be inventoried. You will then choose the type of inventory package you would prefer to have. We will answer any questions that you may have. We will perform a walk through to calculate how much time it will take to perform the inventory and the cost of the inventory: we will then schedule the inventory date.

 


 

On Day of Inventory:

 

  1. Systematically go through the house, one room at a time

  2. List each item in the room to be inventoried

  3. Describe each item as complete as possible

  4. Get insurance information available

 

Pictures of: all things in the house requested to be inventoried and things listed in other places such as:  Garages, Storage Rooms, Basements, and Attics etc…………

 


 

On Completion of Inventory

IMS will work with the client to provide a professional quality documentation for your personal and business property. Providing you with a peace of mind and a feeling of security. 

 

Depending on the package chosen:

 

The Digital Photographs - You will be provided with high quality pictures of the items previously arranged to be inventoried.

 

The Digital Video - IMS will present you with a video of the interior of your residence or commercial property, working room by room. We will cover any detached units requested. ( i.e. garages, storage rooms, attics or basements)

 

We will also video the exterior buildings, any architectural structures and landscaping that help to make your home unique. ( i.e. pool) 

 

The Written Documentation will include: 

 

  1. Where purchased

  2. Cost  

  3. Replacement Cost (if documentation is provided)

  4. Brand Name

  5. Serial Numbers

  6. Model Numbers

  7. Descriptions

  8. Receipts (if documentation is provided)

 

Approximately 3 weeks after the inventory is completed, we will provide you with a portfolio of the inventory on CD, DVD, and written documentation. 

 

We also recommend that you take advantage of the additional services to scan any other important information. (i.e. Certificates of Authenticity, Appraisal Records, and Insurance Information)

 

We will provide FREE back up of your information for 1 year. After that year, the information will be returned to the client unless you choose to RENEW and have it stored for an additional year.

 

Depending on the package chosen FREE updates to your written inventory will also be provided and sent to you.
